The report,the World Map of exhibition Venues,meticulously tracks 1,432 venues globally,encompassing a combined 43.1 million square meters of indoor exhibition space. The report also provides detailed breakdowns of 22 key global markets, each with over 300,000 square meters of indoor space.
China remains the undisputed leader on a national level, commanding 31.3% of global venue capacity.The United States follows with 14.2%, and Germany holds 7.3%. The top five markets—China, the U.S., Germany, Italy, and France—collectively account for a considerable 63.5% of the world’s total exhibition space, a growth of 1.1 percentage points compared to previous years.
The growth isn’t limited to overall capacity; the number of “mega-venues”—those with over 100,000 square meters of indoor space—is also on the rise. globally, there are 83 such venues, with Europe slightly ahead of Asia-Pacific (39 versus 38). North America has five, and the Middle East and Africa have one.
