Asia Pacific Small Animal Veterinary Association, checks preparation status for FASAVA 2025 – Daily Bet

The Asia-Pacific Small Animal Veterinary Association (FASAVA, President Takuo Ishida) inspected the progress of the 13th Asia-Pacific Small Animal Veterinary Congress (FASAVA Congress 2025), which will be held in Daegu next year.

FASAVA board members, including Chairman Takuo Ishida, attended FAVA 2024 (23rd Asia Pacific Veterinary Association General Assembly) held at the Daejeon Convention Center for three days from Friday the 25th to Sunday the 27th, and held the conference on the 26th, the second day of the convention. A board meeting was held on Saturday (FASAVA Board Meeting).

The FASAVA2025 Organizing Committee provided time for exchange, including a meal, to the FASAVA board members who visited Daejeon, and reported on preparations for next year’s competition before the start of the board meeting.

The FASAVA2025 organizing committee said, “We expect many people to attend next year’s FASAVA competition as it is co-hosted with the Korean Animal Hospital Association Conference, Yeongnam Veterinary Conference, and the Korean Association of Clinical Veterinary Medicine Fall Conference,” and prepared to attract 3,000 to 4,000 people from 25 countries. He explained that he was doing it.

In addition, we reported on the promotional activities carried out to date at home and abroad and introduced the confirmed instructors.

According to the FASAVA2025 organizing committee, Professor Stanley Marks, UC Davis College of Veterinary Medicine (American Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist and American Veterinary Nutrition Specialist), Professor Daniel D. Lewis, Florida Veterinary College (American Veterinary Surgeon), and Professor Doug Thamm, Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. American veterinary school professors, including American veterinary internal medicine specialist (oncology) and Professor Ronald Boon Wu Koh of UC Davis College of Veterinary Medicine (American veterinary sports rehabilitation medicine specialist), were confirmed as lecturers.

In addition, Jinyoung Heo (American veterinary radiologist), Soonyoung Kim and Jongmin Kim (hereinafter referred to as American veterinary surgeons), Jiwoong Heo (American veterinary emergency intensivist), Seonah Kim (American veterinary behavioral medicine specialist), and Yongbaek Kim (American veterinary pathologist) A large number of Korean-born American veterinary specialists who are active at home and abroad, including medical doctors, will also give lectures.

FASAVA directors, who were briefed on the preparations for the FASAVA2025 Congress, asked questions and gave advice on recruiting sponsors, pre-congress, language to be used, etc.

The FASAVA2025 Organizing Committee plans to make better preparations for the event by reflecting the opinions of the board of directors presented on the day.

Meanwhile, the 13th Asia-Pacific Small Animal Veterinary Congress (FASAVA Congress 2025) will be held from Friday, October 31 to Sunday, November 2 next year under the theme of One Vision, One Voice: Advancing Asia Pacific Veterinary Medicine. It will be held at EXCO in Daegu for 3 days. The event is co-hosted by the Korean Animal Hospital Association (KAHA) and the Daegu Metropolitan Veterinary Medical Association, and the Korean Veterinary Association, Daegu Metropolitan City, and the Korea Tourism Organization sponsor the event.
