Italian actress Asia Argento has accused American director Rob Cohen, author of such films as The fast and the furious (2001), of drugging her and sexually abusing her during the filming of the film Triple X (2002).

The actress, who collects these facts in her autobiography Anatomia di un cuore selvaggio (Anatomy of a wild heart), explained that everything happened two decades ago in the filming of the aforementioned action movie, starring Vin Diesel.
Argento said that Cohen gave him liquid ecstasy and that a few moments later he lost consciousness.

However, she stressed that at first she blamed herself for those events, something frequent in cases of sexual abuse in the film industry, as she has been denouncing for her participation in the “Me Too” movement.
The 45-year-old actress was one of the promoters of that movement after reporting in 2017 that she had been raped by Harvey Weinstein during a Cannes festival when she was 21 years old. A year later, actor Jimmy Bennett accused her of having sexually abused him when he was 17 years old.
