ASI Mining Joins Australian Automation & Robotics Precinct and Establishes Office in Meridian Park

ASI Mining, a provider of OEM-agnostic autonomous haulage systems, has recently been welcomed to the Australian Automation & Robotics Precinct (AARP). The company has also chosen Meridian Park at Neerabup as the location for its Australian office in order to have easy access to the AARP.

In order to secure access to the AARP’s testing facilities, ASI Mining will bring its mining equipment automation systems to the Meridian Park industrial estate. Their main purpose in using this space is to develop and expand purpose-built advanced robotic automated systems for the mining industry. The Australian office will handle AHS oversight and deployment support, global technology support, and AHS product management.

Additionally, construction has begun on a world-class Common User Facility operations building within the AARP. This building will include lab and warehouse spaces, training and meeting rooms, as well as co-working and collaboration areas. It will serve as the AARP Headquarters and will operate on emission-free solar power connected to a battery and microgrid network. The facility’s total cost is estimated at A$7.3 million.

The AARP, which spans 51 hectares, is Australia’s largest industrial precinct specializing in automation, robotics, remote operations, and zero-emissions technology. CORE Innovation Hub, a national innovation ecosystem and infrastructure builder, is responsible for operating the AARP.
