The artist Ashraf Zaki, “Captain of Acting Professions”, raised questions about his position on the artist Hala Shiha, and her demand to return to the artistic field, after about a year of his assurances in many programs, his rejection of her position on art and artists, and her membership was canceled.
Ashraf Zaki, during his appearance yesterday evening, Wednesday, on the “With You” program with the media, Mona El Shazly, spoke about his position on the return of the artist Hala Shiha, who had previously announced his complete rejection of her work in the artistic field, in response to her comments during her period of wearing the veil, and her marriage to Preacher Moez Masoud.
Ashraf said: “My answers are logical, I don’t have romantic answers. I said if she decided to return, I am not the decision-maker. I will take the opinion of the entire artistic family before the board of directors. I will tell them, as artists, what do you think? I’m close and I want to sit with you.”
The statements of the Syndicate of Musical Professions come nearly a year after his position varied between complete rejection and an indirect response to his position on the return of the artist Hala Shiha, which we monitor in the next report.

In April 2022, the Acting Professions Syndicate launched a sharp attack against the artist, Hala Shiha, during his appearance with the media, Basma Wahba, on the “Al-Arafa” program on the “Al-Mehwar” channel.
Ashraf Zaki said: “She made a mistake and made a mistake in her return to the union again.. There are people who retired quietly, and because when they return, they don’t look like a monster.. and Hala Shiha no longer has a place in the union and will not have a place again.”
And he added, “Peace honors Hala Shiha, and she studied for her at the institute, and she has the right to withdraw. We love our profession.”
And about his position if she asked her to return to the union, he replied: “Certainly, I will not be present, because if I exist, then my words are clear.”

The captain of the acting professions, the artist Ashraf Zaki, revealed indications of a change in his position, during his appearance in December 2022, on the “Secret Ink” program, with the media, Asma Ibrahim, on the Cairo and People channel.
In response to a question about his position if the artist, Hala Shiha, requested a permit to return to acting, he replied, “If she is present and wants a permit, I will consult the people of the first art and the people of art are good.”
The artist, Hala Shiha, had announced in 2021 her retirement from artistic work and repentance for what she had done, after returning to wearing the hijab and marrying the preacher Moez Masoud, before she recently deleted their photos with her and appeared without the hijab.
