Viewers of The Cabins scratched their heads after the new Ashleigh revealed she looked like Meghan Markle.
The 23-year-old farmer’s daughter made her debut on the Friday night show before settling into a cabin with her compatriot Stuart.
But as the two got to know each other, Ashleigh told Stuart – a land buyer – that she was posing as the Duchess of Sussex for a living.
Ashleigh told him, “I have something to tell you. So I’m actually a professional Meghan Markle lookalike. “
Hearing this, Stuart laughed, exclaiming, “What? It’s ridiculous! “
Fans of the ITV2 reality show were equally baffled by hairstylist Ashleigh’s claims.
One of them tweeted, “Megan looks alike? Uh… #TheCabins. “
Another commented: “Meghan Markle looks like ?! Really ?! #TheCabins. “
A third even shared a photo of blind musician Stevie Wonder, musing, “Professional Meghan Markle lookalike? Who is Stevie Wonder for? “
Ashleigh and Stuart were one of two new couples to arrive at The Cabins on Friday night (January 15, 2021).
But it turns out Ashleigh has already had a taste of reality TV fame as a guest on Ibiza Weekender.
This cameo appearance led to a kiss with Vacation Rep Callum, and she’s hoping her time on The Cabins will be even more productive.
Speaking about her television past, she says, “I’ve never dated a celebrity. I kissed someone on Ibiza Weekender – Callum. He’s the only person.
“I was invited to Ibiza Weekender with my sister. “
At the end of the show, she and dressage enthusiast Stuart decided to stay checked in in The Cabin when given the opportunity to check in.
