Sony hasn’t officially decided to make NFT-related games, but new technology and profit opportunities are tempting more developers. In June, former PlayStation employees officially unveiled their studio, and today we can take a look at Ashfall’s gameplay.

Ashfall is the studio’s first production, founded by Michael Mumbauer (he headed the Visual Arts Service Group – PlayStation division for 13 years) and John Garvin (former creative director and screenwriter of Bend Studio).

In June, the developers revealed their team, who had been working on the first game for several months – the developers are ready for a larger presentation of the location and in this case we will play a third person MMORPG shooter.

The production on the day of the announcement has aroused negative emotions, because Ashfall is a real object of the AAA segment, which however uses the hypotheses of the NFT: players will be able to find “exclusive” elements during the mission and the community will be able to exchange them.

Ashfall is, according to information, a “truly next generation” production, which uses “new technologies that enable the creation of user-generated content”, but even in this situation, the title will not run out of “beloved characters, captivating stories and evolving gameplay”.

On the presented material you will see many fragments of Ashfall – the location looks like a typical looter shooter, which, however, will be distinguished by the NFT implementation.
