The Grammy Award winner celebrated 20 years in the music industry and is now the author of the book ‘My Name Is A Story’.

Ashanti mentioned in the interview that she remembers being bullied and had a little trouble getting a name that was different from the normal names and that she would like to share the uniqueness of her name in her book.
She wants the children to adopt their names.
She always loved story time while working at a daycare, that she thought of making a book herself. She was mesmerized by how the children were captivated by telling a story.
Ashanti also celebrated 20 years in the music industry.
The difference now is that she owns her master and can own her music that she’s been in the booth, and has new music to look forward to this year.
GMA surprised her with a pandora plaque with over 2 billion streams welcoming her to the billionaires club.
