We still can’t remove the head of the State Financial Inspection. This was commented in the program of BNT Business.BG by the Minister of Finance Asen Vassilev.

I think that on July 1, this whole thing will end, because a certain period expires, in which if we can’t find it, the whole thing will be considered delivered, Vassilev explained.
This, in my opinion, is the first bad legislation, he added.
If a person goes to hide in this way and does not do his job – and here we are still talking about the head of the State Financial Inspection, who is hiding and does not have the honor and valor to appear, commented Vassilev.
Regarding the information that 43% of the state funds for the last 2 years have been paid without a public procurement tender, Vassilev said that a draft amendment to the Public Procurement Act is being worked on, but there must be a functioning parliament for that. At the same time, we are working on methodological guidelines and a change in the rules for implementation, Vassilev added.
There are many companies, but we have a large concentration in large companies that are engaged in construction – “Motorways”, DCC “Installations”, the minister added.
We are preparing a project to update the budget, Vassilev explained.
There is a high probability, almost certain, of a new autumn wave of coronavirus. If there is one, it will be necessary to react quite urgently with additional costs for the health system, for the business and all this is missing in the current budget. The current budget stipulated that the crisis would end on March 31, Vassilev commented.
The BGN 50 for pensioners will continue. However, in my opinion, they should not continue, but pensions should be updated so that they enter in a fairer way, the Minister of Finance believes.
According to our estimates, there are funds to update pensions. By the end of this year, this can happen – absolutely.
The budgets of the National Social Security Institute are still pending, added Minister Vassilev.
Regarding the funds under the measure 60 to 40 for the business, he explained that they should be specified as where there is a green zone with low morbidity and some in a yellow or red zone.
The third big item in the update is the measures related to the health system.
Yesterday we worked with the BMA, with the National Health Insurance Fund, with the Ministry of Health – a very long six-hour working meeting, where the methodology for the money of the medics is specified, which is also related to the green, yellow and red zone. This thing is currently being valued, Vassilev explained.
That is – the idea of this update is to prepare the country for an upcoming crisis. If it turns out that there is no need to pay this money – everything will be fine, we will not have a deficit. But it turns out that this crisis has come – we must be prepared, the minister is adamant.
