We will not lift the veto over RS Macedonia, Vassilev told BTV.
He supported the idea of Prime Minister Petkov in his request for President Radev to convene the CIS, which would be attended by all political leaders and heads of services, and to reaffirm Bulgaria’s position.
Our position remains unchanged. We insist on the observance of the agreement, the minister added.
Bulgaria is under enormous pressure to change its position, but our Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska has repeatedly assured that our country will not back down until the Bulgarian position is accepted by Skopje.
“If the bread producers decide to increase the price of bread by 20%, it will be on their conscience,” said Deputy Prime Minister Asen Vassilev.
