The Chairman of the Youth Fighters Bravo 5 Ali Fanser Marasabessy still has hope in restorative justice related to the case of beating the children of DPR members on the Gatot Subroto (Gatsu) Toll Road. However, restorative justice must be agreed by both parties.
As is known, the son of DPR member Indah Kurniawati, Justin Fredrick, was beaten by the son of the Youth Leader of Bravo 5, Faisal Marasabessy. The beating took place on the Gatot Subroto (Gatsu) Toll Road on Saturday (4/6) at around 12.40 WIB. Initially, both the victim’s and the perpetrator’s vehicles passed at the location. While at the location, the Nissan driver’s car with RFH plates passed in the left lane at high speed.
Zulpan said the perpetrator’s car then suddenly changed lanes to the right so that the car of the perpetrator and the victim could not be avoided.
“Switching lane to the right by cutting and being quite arrogant. As a result of this cutting, the victim’s vehicle was grazed by the suspect and the victim felt that she was grazed about 100 meters,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E Zulpan to reporters, Tuesday (7/6/2022) .
Faisal Marasabessy has been arrested by the police. Faisal is now facing a sentence of 9 years in prison.
“The alleged article is Article 351 of the Criminal Code or Article 170 of the Criminal Code with a maximum sentence of 9 years in prison,” said Zulpan.
Hoping for Restorative Justice
Ali Fanser Marasabessy has opened his voice regarding the commotion on the Jakarta Inner Toll Road. Ali Fanser Marasabessy is the Chairman of the Youth Fighters Bravo 5. He was in a car with an RFH plate.
Ali Fanser Marasabessy’s party accused Justin Frederick of being the source of the viral commotion. For this matter, Ali Fanser Marasabessy will report Justin Frederick to the Polda Metro Jaya.
“Currently, we are in the process of making a report back at the Polda Metro Jaya,” said Secretary General of the Bravo 5 Youth DPP, Ahmad Zazali, in his statement, Sunday (5/6).
Ahmad Zazali emphasized that his party respects the handling of cases at the Polda Metro Jaya. He hopes that restorative justice can eventually be put forward.
“That taking into account the above incident, and as a form of support for the Bravo Lima Warrior Youth for efforts to bring Pancasila to life through the resolution of restorative justice disputes, we hope that this approach will be put forward for this case,” he said.
