Recently, developer Box Dragon and publisher Coffee Stain gave the full release of strategy deck builder As We Descend. As part of our interview at Gamescom, game director Kevin Chang revealed to us the exact timeline the team is considering for the launch of As We Descend. Chang said:
“So, we’re PC first, so we’re going to see if we can get it on the Steam Deck. Of course, there are some limitations there, including software hard and screen size. We only have 10 people on the team, so we have to decide and choose our battles, so we have three engineers, so we have to choose to do Steam Deck fans are very loyal, so if we can make a good implementation, we want to do the right thing by their side.
“Our aim at the moment is to have it shipped, I would say, early next year, but we’re not sure. We will make a big announcement when we get the exact details out.
