Witan Sulaeman officially recruited AS Trencin for the next two years. The Slovak club called Witan a promising player from Indonesia.
AS Trencin announced the recruitment of Witan on its official website on Tuesday (9/8/2022). Winger mainstay of the Indonesian national team was contracted for two years.
In his statement, AS Trencin introduced Witan with praise. The Slovak League’s time world champion called Witan a promising young man from Indonesia.

“The new face in the AS Trenčín team is the promising representative of Indonesia, Witan Sulaeman. The 20-year-old winger has signed a two-year contract,” wrote AS Trencin.
AS Trencin become the fourth club Witan Sulaeman in Europe. Previously he defended Radnik Surdulica, Lechia Gdanks, and FK Senica.
In Surdulica, Witan made five appearances, before moving to Lechia Gdansk. Playing at the Polish club, which is also the former club of Egy Maulana Vikri, Witan was not included in the senior team, and was later played in the B team of Lechia Gdansk.
Last season, Witan was finally loaned to FK Senica, and played in the Fortuna League, Slovakia’s highest league. The former PSIM Yogyakarta player had 12 appearances and scored 4 goals.
Until finally, Witan has now moved again to AS Trencin. He has a two-year contract until 2024, and will still be competing in Slovakia’s top league.
AS Trencin is a giant in the Slovak League. The team that is currently being coached by Marian Zemen is the owner of two Slovak League titles, which were won in the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 seasons.
Trencin finished 8th in the standings last season, with 25 points from 22 matches, with 6 wins, 7 draws and 9 losses. This season, Trencin has played four times and won once, drew once and lost twice.
Witan himself is very enthusiastic about his move to AS Trencin. He called it a new challenge, which he expressed on social media.
