Abu Dhabi, UAE – The culinary world gathered in Abu Dhabi on January 28, 2025, for the prestigious Middle east & North Africa’s 50 Best restaurants awards. In a dazzling ceremony held in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi),Orfali Bros Bistro in Dubai claimed the coveted #1 spot for the third consecutive year.The event celebrated the region’s finest culinary talents, with restaurants from Marrakech to Manama making the list. Orfali Bros Bistro was hailed as the “best Restaurant in the Middle East & North Africa 2025”, solidifying its reputation as a global culinary powerhouse.
A Night of Culinary Excellence
The awards recognized not only the top restaurants but also individual achievements. Omar Shihab earned the Sustainable Restaurant Award, while tala Bashmi was celebrated as the Chef’s Choice Award winner. Carmen Hernandez took home the Middle East & North Africa Award with Valrhona, and A Row on 45 in Dubai received the Highest Climber Award, jumping 24 places to #17.
Sara Aqel in Amman was honored with the Highest New Entry Award, supported by Lavazza. These accolades highlight the diversity and innovation thriving in the region’s culinary scene.
The Top Contenders
Following Orfali Bros Bistro, BUSIED Studio in Dubai secured the #2 spot, while To the Cinema and Khufu’s in Cairo claimed #3 and #4, respectively. Khufu’s was also named the Best Restaurant in Egypt.
