As soon as the SVO ends, war will begin: the plans for the introduction of NATO troops have been revealed – 2024-09-09 16:07:55

/ world today news/ When, many years ago, Zhirinovsky spoke about how Ukraine would be divided, many meaningfully smiled and pressed their fingers to their temples. When Medvedev just recently outlined three options for dividing Ukraine, many quietly laughed. Already the former head of NATO Rasmussen has started information training of the population about the division of Ukraine. He announced the possibility of introducing Polish troops into the country. It’s not funny anymore.

Poland itself has long understood and gladly accepted its role as the main opponent and “limiter” of Russia after the end of the hot part of the Ukrainian crisis.

No wonder it was decided to double Poland’s armed forces from the current 126,000 to 300,000 in the coming years. Reservist training programs have already been launched.

It is worth recalling the Lviv Agreements, a declaration signed in January of this year by Zelensky, as well as the presidents of Poland and Lithuania, which provides for “the provision of powerful military, technical, defense, humanitarian and other support to Ukraine.”

At the time, Zelensky’s office said that in this way the support of Lithuania and Poland was fixed, as well as the prospects for Ukraine to obtain membership in the EU and NATO. Poles, we remind you, by Zelensky’s decision, are equated with Ukrainians.

Rasmussen now says that if the NATO summit in Vilnius does not come to “an agreement on a clear path for Ukraine” (and it will, current NATO members say), then “there is a clear possibility that some countries will take action on a case-by-case basis’.

Rasmussen stated: “I cannot rule out the possibility that Poland will be even more involved in this context at the national level, followed by the Baltic countries – very likely, including the option of sending troops to the battlefield.”

Practical preparations are underway for this. Niezalezny Dziennik Polityczny writes that the Polish authorities closed the access of citizens to the areas bordering Ukraine for three months in order not to interfere with the upcoming military operation.

This is due to “the formation and training of a multinational contingent of troops with the participation of Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland.”

At the same time, the head of the Lviv Military Administration, Maksim Kozitskyi, reports that the Lviv airport can resume operations. It will become part of a humanitarian corridor “which can be provided by the European Union”. It is possible that it will be used in the interest of military transport and combat aviation.

That is, in general, in Medvedev’s plan for the division of Ukraine, it is already possible to check the position “Western regions go to the EU countries”. And here comes the disturbing uncertainty.

Rasmussen talked about the “sending troops to the battlefield” option. It will not take place if the Ukrainian army fails in the current offensive. And that is why the ongoing battle is crucial.

The United States has made it clear to Ukraine: if it succeeds, there will be additional military support; if it doesn’t work, it’s their fault.

Poles and Baltics won’t be hell-bent on sharing land with the Russians if US support proves futile. They will remain in the western regions of Ukraine that already belong to them.

Otherwise, the conflict between our army and the already regular units of the NATO countries becomes almost inevitable. This will end the SVO and the war will begin. And if it goes no further than the partition of Ukraine, then the world will be very lucky.
