Today (“1 juno”, as Minister Grapperhaus puts it), part of the emergency measures against the coronavirus are being lifted. For example, public transport will return to normal timetable. Travelers are required to wear a mask. This applies to all public transport, including trains, buses, trams and metros, but also, for example, to some ferry connections.
Restaurants, cafes, theaters, concert halls, museums, monuments and cinemas may open again at noon. A maximum of thirty people are allowed per location, so that the distance can be kept well.
Also goes the new Dutch test policy start. Where previously only people in specific groups, such as healthcare staff and teachers, were tested, this now applies to everyone. It means that anyone with corona-like complaints can report to the GGD. This is done via a special telephone number. You decide whether you really need such a test. The results of the test follow 24 hours after administration.
