Covid protocol revised in Bahrain. According to this, Chairman of Supreme Council of Health and Head of National Medical Taskforce Lt. General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa has also announced that these revised regulations have come into effect from today i.e. Sunday 19th March 2023. On this basis should undergo PCR if necessary as per medical evaluation of local health centers.

He added that while there is no longer mandatory self-isolation, the new restrictions mandate active cases to self-isolate for five days and avoid contact with others. The need for all members of the society to follow precautionary guidelines, said Dr. Sheikh Mohammed stressed that it is also recommended to get vaccine booster shots and get tested when any symptoms such as fever, cough and difficulty breathing occur.
