In Kiev, on September 23, at about 4:00 pm, two men broke the windows in two Volvo Hybrid buses on route 150. The director of the “Trans-City” company believes that the pogroms were staged by representatives of the public association “Ukrainian Banner” in order to get money.

How the incident happened
At the stop “Kirillovskaya church” in the direction of Troyeshchina, a guy with an athletic build got off the bus, took a hammer out of his jacket and hit the windshield with it several times bus. At the same time, there were passengers inside.
“The second attack took place at the final stop of the route (Miloslavskaya Street); another guy of typical appearance, passing the bus, threw a stone into the windshield,” Sergei Borodin, director of the Trans-City company, told Segodnya.
According to Borodin, the police were called to the scene.
“Our drivers tried to detain the intruders, but they were not alone. The guys obviously had a support group. They pushed the drivers away, and the attackers ran away,” adds Sergei Borodin.
Intimidate carriers: want “tribute”
According to him, the company operates on four routes in the city. Bye all buses on route 150 have stopped carrying passengers.
“For a week now, route No. 205 has been terrorizing – we are simply not allowed to work. We turned to the police with a statement. It seems to me that they are just intimidating us. Why? We are being intimidated. We had to order all buses to stop working and return to the park, “Borodin says.
He adds that they decided so in order not to endanger passengers, drivers and their property. If the police do not respond to the incident, carriers promise to protest.
“The windshield for a Volvo bus costs 100 thousand hryvnia! This is the official cost, and the glasses are not available now. If this continues, they will shoot at minibuses from grenade launchers. Now all our drivers go to the park. If there is no reaction from law enforcement officers , then tomorrow our drivers will go out under the Kyiv City State Administration and block Khreshchatyk, “Borodin added.
