ASHKELON – Iron Dome missile defense system is a mainstay Israel in the massive conflict with Hamas and other militant groups in Gaza, Palestine . The Zionist regime prided itself on the system, but was finally conceded by a Sijeel Hamas missile that killed two Israelis in Ashkelon.

An energy pipeline belonging to an Israeli state company was also hit by a rocket from Gaza on Tuesday night because the Iron Dome system failed to intercept the projectiles. The Izzuddin al-Qassem Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, have vowed to turn Israeli cities into “hell” with rocket rain.

The militant group claims to have fired 137 rockets at Ashkelon and Ashdod in just five minutes. According to journalists AFP at the scene, a loud explosion rocked Ashkelon again on Tuesday, where a rocket had ripped a gaping hole into the side of the apartment block.
