Voluntary fee, small change only sometimes

However, this is not a tourist trap.

The photo fee is optional. “I don’t pressure people at all, it’s up to everyone how much they contribute. There are also a lot of students who come here and donate small amounts. Maybe ten, fifteen crowns,” said a man dressed as a warrior from the 14th century.

However, he had cash in the cup where people contribute. And it wasn’t enough for her.

“But yes, they also give higher amounts. As I say, everything is voluntary. I don’t pressure anyone. But there are also crazy people who will give me five hundred, for example,” he revealed.

And he added that he does not participate in well-known knight tournaments and historical battle reconstructions: “I have it like this here on weekends, when there are the most tourists here. That’s all.”

According to him, it is the only entertainment allowed at Prague Castle. “I have permission from the city. I’m actually the only one far and wide who can operate something similar here,” he concluded.
