The attack on Morozovsk airfield was carried out by the SBU together with the military and the Defense Forces, at least six planes were destroyed.

Su-34 front-line bombers and Su-27 fighters were based at the airfield. Russia uses these planes to drop anti-aircraft missiles on the positions of the Armed Forces and Ukrainian frontline cities.

According to the interlocutor, the results of the joint special operation are impressive: at least six military aircraft of the Russian Federation were destroyed, and another eight were significantly damaged. In addition to the equipment, about 20 Russian soldiers became “two hundred” or “three hundred”, the source added.

“This is an important special operation that will significantly reduce the combat potential of the Rashists,” the interlocutor of the agency noted.

According to the Telegram channel “Crimea Realities”up to 30 Russian military aircraft could be at the airfield.

As reported, Russia announced a massive drone attack on the Morozovsk military airfield, where bombers that strike Ukraine are based. This airfield is located in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation.

The drone attack took place on the night of April 4-5. The first explosions occurred around midnight local time. The governor of the Russian region, Vasily Golubev, said that this military airfield was attacked by more than 40 attack drones.
