Aruba Collaboration with Microsoft, Present Aruba ESP & Microsoft Azure

Trenteknologi.com – Aruba collaborates with Microsoft to announce the presence of two new solutions that will enable companies to accelerate their digital transformation from edge to cloud, by integrating Aruba ESP (Edge Services Platform) and Microsoft Azure. Announced at Microsoft Ignite 2021, the first solution is Aruba IoT Transport for Azure, a service that enables IoT devices connected to access points (APs) and controller Aruba conducts two -way communication with the Azure IoT Hub. Furthermore, Aruba also introduced a platform cloud management Aruba Centralhost on Azure. This platform presents a solution cloud networking from Aruba, which currently manages more than 1 million devices on Azure.

Express Line for IoT Data

IoT devices are the ‘eyes’ and’ ears’ for each facility categorized as’smart’. When supported by infrastructure cloud-native safe, value The amount of data collected will increase enormously, especially when the infrastructure can provide data that interacts seamlessly with business applications and facilities in the company. The better a facility is equipped with IoT devices, the more hyper-aware these facilities. These facilities are also increasingly capable of producing insight better and more complete, which can then be used across the infrastructure to achieve business goals.

However, running safe and economical IoT monitoring and control devices in all work facilities can be a challenge. Extensive data coverage and sources, interactions with legacy IoT devices using the protocol non-interoperable, securing data lines, and high implementation costs, are just a few of the obstacles companies may face when embarking on a modernization project of their facilities.

Working with Microsoft, Aruba is developing Aruba IoT Transport for Azure – is the first time applied to applications for general use – to solve these problems. Aruba IoT Transport for Azure multiply the power of Aruba ESP by providing seamless and secure two-way data communication, from IoT devices connected to Aruba APs and controller, so users can take advantage of the wide range of services and applications on Azure. Aruba IoT Transport for Azure takes it off gateway, server, or an intermediate application, thereby reducing latency in the process. With this solution, users can also run IoT systems and services on Aruba’s existing infrastructure. This allows users to reduce the time, cost, and risk that can occur from using self-developed or customized solutions. This allows users to focus more efforts on equipping their facilities, making it happen hyper-awareness, and get insight more in-depth about their business processes.

Security issues are always a priority in IoT because many IoT devices are inherently untrustworthy (untrustworthy). Aruba IoT Transport for Azure designed from scratch with security as the foundation. Flexible, pre-existing credential management and authentication settings (built-in) will protect data plane and control plane from various security threats.

Enterprise Class Cloud Environment for Azure

The IDC technology research institute stated that by 2022 as much as 50% of the infrastructure built will be on site edge which is very important, and by 2024, more than 75% of the infrastructure is in place edge will be run through the model infrastructure as a service. However, manage infrastructure as a service deployment requires a platform that is extensive, secure, and very scalable. Aruba ESP combines unified infrastructure for IT, IoT, and operational technology (OT) devices, framework Zero Trust security, and AIOps. Thus, this solution can present the platform cloud-native which implements automation and continuously analyzes data throughout domain to predict and solve various problems on the network edge.

One of the most important elements in Aruba ESP, which is Aruba Central, is service cloud-native which is designed to integrate the management of the campus network, branch offices, networks remote and data center. With Aruba Central on Azure IT admins will be able to manage and optimize the network from a single point of control.

“Edge and IoT networks are proving to have a positive impact on businesses, but convergence will run into problems interoperability across platforms, applications and systems, ”said Michael Tennefoss, Vice President of IoT and Strategic Partnerships at Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company. “Simplifies integration edge in IoT and services cloud by using abilities cloud Aruba ESP with the extensibility and power of Microsoft Azure will solve those problems. Moreover, all of this can be achieved without sacrificing security, management and reliability issues. Azure is ubiquitous with a regional availability rate of 99.99%, making this solution very attractive to users around the world who want improvements in sound decision making and sustainable business processes. “

“IoT helps companies make smarter decisions — so they will be more efficient, more efficient resilient, and can provide a better experience for users and their employees, “said Sam George, Corporate Vice President, Azure IoT, Microsoft. “Our collaboration with Aruba simplifies the steps IT admins have to take to add IoT devices to their legacy enterprise environment. This way they can use Aruba’s existing network to connect the devices to Microsoft Azure IoT Hub in safe two-way communication. It is truly cost-effective, truly a smooth step toward a transformation powerful.”

Aruba IoT Transport for Azure and Aruba Central on Azure will be available in Spring 2021. For more information on Aruba solutions for Microsoft, please visit https://www.arubanetworks.com/partners/microsoft-solutions/.
