Artwork Banksy generates 170,000 euros in the Netherlands | Abroad

This is the work ‘Bird with Grenade’ from 2002. It comes from the private collection of Jamie Wood, the son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood.

Banksy itself has not certified the work. “He doesn’t do that because he thinks that his public work should be on the street and not in the art trade,” said auctioneer Richard Hessink. “We are happy that the work has remained in the Netherlands.”
