Artistic Unions in Lebanon Call for Humanitarian Solidarity with Gaza Strip

The artistic unions in Lebanon issued a statement published by the Lebanese artist Moin Sharif regarding the call for a humanitarian stand in solidarity with the Gaza Strip, next Tuesday, October 17, at eleven in the morning, in front of the ESCWA Center.

The statement said: “In the face of this suspicious silence and disregard for this destructive and systematic war on the Gaza Strip by the brutal Israeli enemy, which is killing civilians, including children, women and the elderly, without discrimination, and the deadly siege of the Strip and depriving it of the basic necessities of life, such as medicines, food supplies, water, and electricity, Whereas these actions are described as war crimes and genocide,

We are here to strongly condemn this sinful aggression, and we strongly stand in solidarity with our people in Gaza, and we call for a humanitarian solidarity stand on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in front of the ESCWA Center – Beirut at eleven in the morning.
