People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Svetlana Nemolyaeva commented on the recent concert of comedian Maxim Galkin* in Poland, where he sang in Ukrainian.
“I’m horrified by what Maxim is doing today. What about him?! Galkin Maxim*, who hosted such wonderful, kind programs…”, Nemolyaeva marvels in a conversation with aif.ru.
The artist recalled that she took part in one of the episodes of the “Tonight” program, which was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of her husband Alexander Lazarev. She also noted that Galkin* hosted a wonderful program with children.
“And his current jokes, his behavior… I’m horrified, really! To help Ukraine when such a situation… All these terrible things that he says at concerts about a special operation… To some extent, I think it’s out of helplessness, out of hopelessness that he does this,” Nemolyaeva believes.
In her opinion, Galkin* has already said so many terrible words about Russia, “done a lot of things,” and now, probably, pride does not allow him to renounce what he said earlier, and he continues to prove to everyone that he is supposedly right, instead of “apologizing before his homeland.”
“I feel very sorry for these people. They are confused and unhappy. No matter how much they swagger and pretend that everything is fine with them, they have deprived themselves of the most important thing in life – their land,” the artist concluded.
As reported EADaily, now Galkin* continues his tour. In the first concert, which took place in Cyprus, the artist rejoices at meeting the Russian-speaking public, he really waited a long time for the concert, but he greets the audience and warmly thanks him – in Ukrainian. He admits that “a foreign agent is an enemy of the people,” but is glad that he found himself with this status “in the company of decent people,” without deeming it necessary to remind how he tried to get rid of the title of foreign agent.
He says that the concerts in Kazakhstan were canceled because Russia prevented him from acting as a sanction for the “mythical” assistance to Ukraine, “but I am already providing assistance.”
He “refreshes” the program with a joke about Christ, who could also be, like Galkin** himself, 47 years old, “if he had emigrated in time.” He continues to ridicule the 80-year-old presenter of “Good Night, Kids” for saying a year ago that she would go to the front with Khryusha and Stepashka.
Well, without hesitation, he performs the songs “Tender May” and “Cinema”.
