Artist Putri Patricia’s Complaint about Honda’s After-Sales Service

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Not long ago, a viral video circulated on social media about artist Putri Patricia’s complaint about after-sales service at Honda’s official repair shop.

In the video, Putri said that the Honda car she had just bought had damage to the lock and radio. In fact, the car has not been launched a year yet.

“So, the story is that our family has just bought a car that has been launched for less than a year, but we are already experiencing problems from a broken radio, and also a broken car handle lock,” said Putri, quoted from the video, Wednesday (5/7/2023).

Regarding the car key, Putri said, the components had been repaired and replaced. However, for the radio the solution to the problem is disappointing.

“For my radio, they replaced it, indeed. But it turned out to be still damaged and after looking at it again, after I saw it, it turned out that what they replaced was a product that had been used, which was damaged, then continued to be used again in my car, that’s it,” said Putri .

Putri felt disappointed with the service at the official Honda repair shop and felt disadvantaged because she had to go back and forth to the repair shop.

Business Innovation and Marketing & Sales Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) Yusak Billy said that his party had received the report and handled it.

“I received the news 2 days ago. At that time, we immediately coordinated with the relevant dealer regarding this problem,” said Billy, when contacted by Kompas.com, Wednesday (5/7/2023).

“Indeed there was an internal miscommunication in this case. For these consumers, we have handled it properly according to the procedures in force,” he said.
