The young artist Olivia Rodrigo turned 20 this year and in a big interview with The Guardian she opens up about life in the limelight and talks about revelations about love, friendship and trust:
– That’s what was so surprising, that you can succeed in all these crazy ways and still feel so insecure and like no one will ever like you or love you.
Since her teens, she has been known as an actress for various series on the Disney Channel.
At 18, she took the world by storm when she came out with the song “Drivers License”, which can boast of being the fastest song to reach 100 million listens on Spotify.

Many have believed that the song was about ex-boyfriend Joshua Bassett, whom Rodrigo played opposite in “High School Musical: The Series” on Disney+.
The speculation surrounding the song did not diminish when, a week after his ex-boyfriend’s launch in the New Year, Bassett served up his own song with the title “Lie, Lie, Lie”.

Rodrigo also says:
– To have a sustainable career, I will roll it out slowly. I kind of had overnight success. I had been working on songs for many years and prepared for that moment for a long time. But it was very immediate and taking things slower was my way of dealing with it.
Care
In the interview, the young star also talks about grief when she turned 20, because she worked all her childhood. She has previously told VG that she has always performed and was home-schooled.
She describes her own life as strange.
– It is very difficult to be a child and an actor, and you may feel a little taken advantage of sometimes, she says.
She describes feeling both mature and limited, because of the way she grew up.
Therefore, she wants to live the celebrity life in a moderate way.
– I’m so curious to learn and grow and experience things, and how will I ever learn if I can’t make a mistake in my own privacy?
