Artist Mohamed Iskandar’s Guest Appearance on LBCI’s Anonymous Program with Rudolf Hilal

Artist Mohamed Iskandar was a guest on the Anonymous program with journalist Rudolf Hilal on LBCI, where he talked about various matters from art to politics.

Iskandar expressed his great desire to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and said: “I have a reproach against Saudi festivals. Why was I not invited to the festival even though I have a large audience in Saudi Arabia?” stressing that “I do not want to be held accountable for being a Shiite, but for being a Shiite.” Technical”.

Muhammad Iskandar considered that the director, “Charbel Khalil, is arrogant, and I have no problem with him, and what unites us is our Lebaneseness… everyone named Charbel loves him.”

Regarding the song Shams, Iskandar said: “Najwa Karam is a woman who cannot be repeated. She is a person like a sword and knows loyalty and principles. “I have Najwa Muttrah. She does not stomp with honor,” and all her songs are wonderful.”

Iskandar pointed out, “The artist Wadih Al-Sheikh, from his beginnings, was influenced by me. He was raised on the same street in which we live. He is a ‘men’, but he is fierce and chaotic. I asked him to reduce the chaos, and he was able to impose a certain color and achieved tremendous successes.”

As for the artist Myriam Fares, he said: “Myriam Fares has a certain color and she is successful in it and is ‘ready’, but I advise her to reduce her arrogance, and the name of Mrs. Fairouz cannot be combined with the name of Myriam Fares, and the place that Fairouz steps on will not be trampled by anyone: “Oh Myriam, reduce your arrogance.” “”.

In a related context, he said: “If my daughter wanted to be an artist, I don’t know if I would agree, and I am not very much in favor of the idea because she will be exposed to many difficulties, and I do not want her to be in pain. Art has many pitfalls, and stardom has a very high price.”

As for the country and politics, Muhammad Iskandar believed that “we must love each other as Lebanese, and the name of Michel Aoun is greater than the chair and greater than the title, and I love him,” adding: “I cannot remain silent about a mistake, and I satisfy my convictions, and I have never run to please a leader.”

He continued: “Congratulations to our hearts as Lebanese, and congratulations to Lebanon, because we have a person like President Nabih Berri, who calms the situation despite all the circumstances, and whose heart is open to everyone, and President Berri’s family consider me one of them.”

He added: “The Lebanese people do not love each other, and it is not my ambition to become a politician, but if President Berri asks me to do so, I will do so.”

Iskandar revealed, “My information says that war will not happen unless Israel takes a risk and takes the decision, and things will remain as they are in the form of attrition.”

He pointed out, “Gebran Bassil is not my enemy, but I blame him because his group in Canada fought me and accused me of having a weapon in my luggage at the airport. They also accused me of having my money go back to financing Hezbollah, and I was subjected to investigation… and I say to his audience, ‘Let us be Lebanese who love each other.'”
