The artist, Mohamed Ali Rizk, expressed his happiness after the Syndicate of Dramatic Professions issued a statement to the makers of the series “Why not” by deleting the scene of insulting the theater department of the Faculty of Arts.
Rizk published the statement, through his official account on the “Instagram” website, and commented: “Thanks and appreciation to the Syndicate of Representative Professions and to the respected Captain, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, that he is always in our back.”
The scene, which was shown as part of the events of the eighth episode of the series, came about a family visit, in which two artists from the new faces speak at work, who embody the characters Yasmine and Menna, to ask the first: Where do you study? She said, “Seriously.” Menna replied, “Don’t tell me I want to act.” Yasmine tells her that her friend, “Nada,” loves singing and acting, and she hopes to learn acting. Acting is serious, but we have a theater group that you can try with.
The young artist, Muhammad Ali Rizk, criticized the scene and wrote on his personal Facebook account: “I watch the series Why Not, the third part … and I deny my strong love for the series Why Not from the first part, because they discuss important issues in a different way, and every time they were able to touch people, and in the last part They are discussing a very important issue that is very widespread in our eastern society, but I saw the scene of his invitation in Episode 8, and suddenly at the end of the scene, two very nice actresses were discussing colleges.
