The illustrations were made by Colombian artist Martín López Arango, who shared them on his Twitter. On the occasion, he responded to requests from his followers to draw those who would be the villains of each country. Brazil
The illustration of Brazil brings as main elements the biodiversity of our tropical forests, especially the Amazon. In the image, we can see a giant monster, covered in leaves and branches, in a closed and dark forest.
Nigeria
To play the Nigerian villain, Martín used adornments characteristic of the country’s culture, such as bracelets and necklaces, to create a mystical mermaid. Beside him is a sea creature that scares anyone.
New Zealand
Another horrifying villain is the one representing New Zealand. In this case, Martín used as a reference the visual aspect of the Maori warriors, part of the country’s culture, and put him with scary horns.
Guatemala
This villain, who represents Guatemala, was also quite successful in Martín’s profile. The artist used elements characteristic of the culture of the ancient Mayan Empire to create a horrifying zombie villain.
Yemen
As for the villain from Yemen, the artist left human references aside and decided to create a fire monster from a tree characteristic of the country. Without a doubt, it is one of the most impressive results.
Canada
