Al-Marsad Newspaper: The artist Khaled Al-Rifai complained of ignoring his colleagues in the artistic community with touching words during his private interview on the “Yahla” program.
Al-Rifai said: “The artistic community in which we live is seen as ungrateful, then ungrateful, then ungrateful.” He continued: “I mean, I am sick now, and many other artists do not want to call me courtesy. Who tells you Hello, how are you, other than your children?
And he continued: “The people I worked with are not finished. You are no longer your need.” And he added: In new generations, we will be chairs, but keep, my brother, the chair, let it be present, but the word of God, these are old ones, we no longer want them.
Pointing out that most of those who dispense with the old artists are the producers and some channels, asking: “The new youth who are 20 or 30 years old do not have a father or grandfather?! There are senior actors who play these characters.”
And he added: “The artist Ali Al-Midfa now does not see what is considered blind. This is the work and the only one that Faisal Al-Essa employed in Shabab Al-Bomb.”
Al-Rifai asked that there be attention and appreciation for old artists, and that there be an artists’ syndicate and a fund to collect money from the works of artists to help those who fall ill or suffer distress.
