The artist, Hessa Al-Nabhan, the daughter of the distinguished Kuwaiti artist, Jassem Al-Nabhan, responded to criticism of filming her recent private visit to her father in the hospital, and publishing the video on social media platforms.
Hessa Al-Nabhan explained in a video circulating on the pages interested in art news and celebrities, that she was surprised by some of the accounts that shared the video of her visit to Jassim Al-Nabhan in the hospital, and it was commented on in a negative way, as some indicated that she intended to create content and gain views at the expense of this personal visit.
Hessa Al-Nabhan completely denied this, and responded to the criticism, denouncing that some people think of it, noting that it is natural for her father’s audience to search for the closest person to him to check on his health through him, and that there is no one closer to him.
Hessa Al-Nabhan continued in her response to these criticisms: “It is normal for people to search for the closest person and to check on my parents, and people are my parents, and I am normal when I see my parents in pictures because people love to see us together.”
Regarding the accusations against her of seeking fame and creating content at the expense of her father, Hessa Al-Nabhan expressed her dissatisfaction with these comments and their owners, stressing that the content industry is easy and does not require this effort.
And she added: “Creating content is not easier than that. I can imagine next to a car, not my car, and say, Wow, God, and I will become a trend. The issue is easy, and the evidence is that some used my father’s videos and commented on them with vulgar comments, and it became a trend.”
