Today, Monday, the October Misdemeanor Court reserved the trial of the person who caused the death of the artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour and the injury of his wife in a traffic accident in October for the next March 4 session to pronounce the ruling.
Lawyer Shaaban Saeed, the civil plaintiff, asked the court to add a new charge to the accused, which is unintentional destruction.
The prosecution charged the accused with manslaughter and injury to the victim’s wife, as well as violating the traffic law, but the charge of unintentional damage was not included.
The competent investigation authorities in October previously referred the accused in the case of the death of artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour in a traffic accident in October to criminal trial.
The October Court’s opposition judge had decided to release the accused on a bail amounting to 10,000 pounds pending the case.
The Public Prosecution heard the person accused of committing the incident, and it turned out that he was a visual artist who lives in October City and was on his way home.
Investigations revealed that the artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour was driving his car on the ring road towards the oases in the 6th of October area, and while he was walking, a car collided with him from behind, which resulted in the entire rear part of the car and the front part being shattered, and the car that caused the accident was shattered from the front.
