Auctions featuring any authentic product related to the Italian car manufacturer Ferrari are usually very successful and customers show huge interest in them. However, there is also a specific market in the USA, where collectors are able to pay considerably high sums for anything.

A shining example is, for example last week’s sale, which took place as part of the “Bring a Trailer” page, which can be used to bid and sell various car parts or even entire cars. A user from Pennsylvania was selling a set of color, paint, upholstery and leather samples from a Ferrari dealership here, and in the end, he collected $16,900 (405,000 crowns).

The lucky seller said that the samples are for cars with a production date between the 1960s and 1990s. The sale included, among other things, an original AE Loriolo Milano enamel key ring or a dealer badge with the inscription “Chinetti International Motors, Greenwich, Connecticut”. It can thus be assumed that the materials come from a defunct dealership that has already changed location.

An interesting fact that makes the artifacts even more valuable is, for example, the fact that Luigi Chinetti, who founded the dealership, was the first factory agent under the wing of Enzo Ferrari in the US, and in Connecticut he also established the first official Ferrari sales point behind the “big puddle”.
