Arthur will end his long run on PBS with his 25th season in 2022.
CNN He noted that PBS Kids is planning to end the iconic children’s series, screenwriter Kathy Waugh revealed during a recent interview on the Finding DW podcast.
“Arthur is the longest running children’s animated series in history and is known for teaching kindness, empathy and inclusion through many groundbreaking moments to generations of viewers,” Greenwald said in a statement.

The program is aimed at children from 4 to 8 years old. It stars Arthur, an 8-year-old aardvark, and his family and friends, according to PBS Kids.
Waugh told the podcast: “Arthur is no longer in production. We had our goodbye party two years ago. I think that [PBS] He made a mistake, and I think Arthur should come back and I know I’m not the only one who thinks they were wrong.
He continued: “I don’t know if it was a hearing problem or if they thought it should be withdrawn. To me, it felt imperishable, like it was never going to end, but it ended.
