New investment in Canada for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. In a press release dated August 14, 2023, the global broker announced that it was getting its hands on A.H. Horn and Associates Limited (Horn), an Ontario company.
Horn offers sales development programs and consulting services in various industries worldwide. On its website, the company cites various insurers and reinsurers among its customers: Canada Life, Sun Life or Munich Re.
Terms of the acquisition by Gallagher have not been disclosed at this time.
contacted by Insurance PortalGallagher confirms, however, that this is its first operation in the country since the beginning of 2023. In 2022, the broker had made three Canadian acquisitions and appointed an expansion manager in Quebec.
