Arthur Houtman, managing director of Vertigo Games Amsterdam, has passed away – Gaming – News

Unfortunately, often enough with family and girlfriend that waiting until your retirement to do certain things is not wise. If you want something, and you can do it now, do it now. Don’t put it off until you retire, because that is not guaranteed at all, let alone in good health.

My father was nowhere near his retirement. Stepfather falls off the roof two years after his retirement and is physically unable to pursue his much desired retirement projects. Father-in-law has just retired for a year and has been hospitalized for several days because he regularly faints. They all had big plans for their retirement, only to see it fall to pieces soon. This year a 36-year-old friend died of cancer, and a friend who was told a few days later that he has the same form of cancer.

I have learned the lesson: take the time for the things you want to do if you can, you can always work, and many things are cheaper than you think (especially when you are still young).
