Another successful city center placement of Steel as part of the “immediate program to strengthen our city centers and centers in NRW”: the Artgrey Photoproducts store was opened at 1-3 Alten Linien street last week. In André Hinse’s specialty shop, visitors can obtain large format printers, inkjet media and artist supplies. The entrepreneur also offers a delivery service for regional orders and an on-site fine art printing service.
“Artgrey Photoproducts is a real asset to the Steeler Zentrum. So far, Mr. Hinse has mainly been present in the B2B market. André Hinse has over 35 years of experience in photographic product sales and consultancy and works for companies such as Canon, Canson and Felix Schoeller, among others. “I can finally offer a permanent point of contact via the downtown instant program. For a long time I was mainly represented at trade shows and in the B2B area and visitors repeatedly asked me when I would sell my stationary products. Now I can go to the Steeler store Zentrum with a great atmosphere and I’m looking forward to many new customers,” says the entrepreneur from Essen.
Artgrey Photoproducts is the second location in Steele under the state-funded “Downtown Immediate Program.” In the summer, 50’s & NoRe-Style was able to move into a new store. On Limbecker Strasse in the center of Essen, seven vacancies with eight concepts have already been revitalized thanks to the funding programme. What is special about the program is that tenants only have to pay 20 percent of their old rent by the end of 2023. The goal is for tenants to successfully place in the competition and be able to survive in the location beyond the funding period.
