Arsenal have confirmed that left-back Kieran Tierney has signed a new contract to keep him at the club for the long term.
It will be a busy summer at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal look to strengthen their squad after missing out on European qualification. There will be many ins and outs, but one of the most important business they could do was secure Tierney services long-term.
The defender has impressed since arriving from Celtic in 2019 and will add to his 62 appearances in the coming seasons.
Arsenal He did not disclose how long the contract lasts, but reports say it is until 2026. His salary is believed to have risen to £ 110,000 per week under his new terms.
They believe their performance levels have paid off and that at age 24 they are only going to get better.

Arteta calls Tierney’s contract ‘big news’
Tierney, whose previous contract was to expire in 2024, was one of Mikel Arteta’s most trusted players last season. He started 32 games in all competitions with the Spanish coach.
Arteta is excited to continue working with the Scotland international.
