Dahlan’s arteries back to controversy. This time, the member of Commission III of the DPR RI asked for a Kajati to be replaced because he spoke Sundanese at the meeting. Arteria’s proposal drew criticism.
The proposal to ask the Kajati to speak Sundanese during the meeting was conveyed by Arteria Dahlan at the Commission III forum of the DPR and the Attorney General’s Office at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (17/1/2022). Arteria said that he loved Attorney General ST Burhanuddin.
“There is a little criticism, Mr. JA. There is a kajati who in the meeting and in the working meeting speaks in Sundanese, replace, sir, that,” he said.
Arteria regretted the kajati’s attitude in using Sundanese at the meeting. According to him, the kajati should use the Indonesian language.
“We are Indonesian, sir. So people are afraid that if they speak in Sundanese, people will be afraid to say what and so on,” he said.
“We really ask that something like this be taken firm action,” he added.
The Sundanese community asked Arteria to apologize for his remarks.
“We, as part of the Sundanese and West Java communities, ask Brother Arteria Dahlan to apologize to the Sundanese people for his words,” said General Chairperson of the Siliwangi Youth Forces (AMS) Central Executive Noeri Ispandji Firman in his statement, Tuesday (18/1/2022). .
“In a chivalrous manner, set an example like a good politician and public official, who protects the community, not makes noise with words that offend the public,” he said.
