Arta: The BAA was approved with 16 projects with a budget of 30 million euros

And with the “voula”, 16 projects and actions have now been approved for the Municipality of Artaia, with a budget of €30,372,597.93, from the Epirus NSRF PEP 2021-2027, with a public expenditure of €20,000,000, through the strategy of the BAA Plan of the Municipality of Artaia.

The strategic plan submitted by the Tsirogiannis Municipal Authority was approved by the Municipal Council and officially joined the PEP of Epirus with approval decision number, 2832/22-12-2023, where it includes an integrated approach to issues directly related to the development of the city.

In detail, the projects and actions included in the BAA Plan of the Municipality of Artaia and approved:

1. Energy upgrade of schools and municipal buildings: €3,000,000
2. Modernization of the electricity network of the Municipality of Artaia with led lights: €1,000,000
3. Installation of LED Lighting in the city of Arta: €2,847,000
4. Integrated intervention in the street lighting network of the Ring Road in the urban fabric of the city: €2,025,597.93
5. Cultural Route Connecting Archaeological Sites and Monuments in the City of Arta: €6,000,000
6. Restoration of a Byzantine monument I.N. Comforter of Arta: €2,000,000

7. Improvement of accessibility and traffic arrangements at Arta General Hospital: €2,000,000
8. Creation of a Disabled Playground in Arta: €500,000
9. Redevelopment of Skoufa and Kilkis squares and accompanying projects: €3,000,000 million
10. Integrated intervention in the traffic light infrastructure and urgent safety improvement works on the National Road within the city of Arta: €2,000,000
11. Actions to highlight and promote the tourist product of Arta: €1,000,000
12. Entrepreneurship and employment center and business support in the tourism sector: €2,000,000
13. Configuration of parking spaces in the city center: €1,000,000
14. Fire protection on Peranthi Hill: €500,000
15. Development of photovoltaic systems to reduce energy consumption: €1,000,000
16. Urban Mobility Plan implementation project: €500,000
