The Culture area informs that the Menchu Gal Room will host workshops for the whole family during Christmas, as part of the exhibition on the work of the artist Jose Zugazti. The workshops will be of two types and are as follows:
Days 27 and 28 December. Taught by Miren González Goikoetxea, de Marte Creation Workshop.
The aim of this workshop is to create a sculpture inspired by the “LOTUrak” and “ESPIRALes” series from Zugasti. Subsequently, through the observation of our sculpture, we will draw and color the new forms that arise in space.
This process will lead us to contemplate and understand the Zugasti sculpture in another way.
Days 29 and 30 December. Taught by Itsaso Labari.
In the artistic laboratory that will accompany the exhibition, dimensions will be played with and the peculiarities and relationships between line and volume will be analysed. The will will consist of two parts; in the first, we will work on dimensions, volumes, supports and techniques, and in the second, already oriented towards learning through play, we will move from drawing to sculpture; from 2D to 3D.
