Launched by Grupo Planeta, the second book by the public relationsist Mariela Ivanier is now available in bookstores. The first, Té de Colección, was presented in 2013 at MALBA under the umbrella of ArteBA and is already sold out. In this publication, Ivanier opened the doors of her house with images and stories from personalities who have been at the events -with the same name- that she carries out around the contemporary art collection that she shares with the daughter of she, Mora.
This new book is as varied in its colors, textures, and images as it is in testimonials and stories. The graphic design was in charge of Guillermo Miguens. Journalists, gallery owners, curators, cooks, tea blenders, art collectors, writers, artists, art critics and entrepreneurs are some of the occupations of the women selected for “Art is at home”, which transports readers to a space reflection on the role of women in art and the function of art in our lives. “The initial idea was to invite female artists from my collection,” explains the author Mariela Ivanier, “but we gradually realized that the idea was broader, more encompassing. Because art mobilizes us women, inspires us, impacts us and a kind of filigree was put together, a chain of friends and friends of friends and suggestions from those who could expand and enrich the idea. ”, she concludes.
Although the book is already in bookstores throughout the country, the official presentation will take place on Monday, March 6, 2023 in the Auditorium of the National Museum of Fine Arts by the author Mariela Ivanier, who is carrying out an extensive agenda of intimate presentations, both in Argentina and abroad.
