If you would like to come to us by car, please be sure to allow plenty of time for arrival and departure.
Parking options can be found in the parking lots P2, P3 (approx. 411 spaces), P4 and P5 (approx. 425 spaces). Alternatively, there are three additional alternative parking spaces available. These are located at Schützenplatz Benrath (Bayreuther Str. 22), Spanger Straße and the Niederheid sports park (Paul-Thomas-Straße 35).
As a special service, we have set up a shuttle from Schützenplatz Benrath that will take you comfortably to CASTELLO and back to your car.
You also have the option of one located on the network of various S-Bahn and bus lines Park&Ride-Driving to the parking lot.
Arrival by public transport
So that you can enjoy your stay with us as stress-free as possible, we recommend that you travel by public transport. For many events, your ticket is also valid as a 2nd class ticket in the VRR area on public transport and the DB. The corresponding logo is noted on the tickets.
Bus number 789 also runs from Benrath to Briedestrasse, from where it is only a few steps to the hall. You can also take bus number 785 from Heinrich-Heine-Allee to the Düsseldorf-Reisholz S stop, from where it is also a few steps to the hall. With the S-Bahn lines S6 or S68 in the direction of Langenfeld/Cologne or Essen HBF you can get to the Düsseldorf-Reisholz S stop via Düsseldorf main station.
The M1 metrobus in the direction of Benrath S will also take you to the Düsseldorf-Reisholz S stop.
Then turn right in the underpass. At the intersection, change side of the street and use the pedestrian path to CASTELLO Düsseldorf, which begins directly to the left of the Shell gas station.
In order to ensure the greatest possible security for visitors, intensive bag checks are carried out at the entrances. It is prohibited to bring bags larger than A4 (21cm x 29.7cm). In order to minimize waiting times at entry, we ask all guests not to bring bags with them. Admission is granted with smaller bags, but we ask that you limit yourself to an absolutely necessary minimum (e.g. money, medication – only with a medical certificate). We urge you to observe these instructions. This makes the work of the security service easier and significantly speeds up entry.
Please note that there are no drop-off facilities for larger bags or suitcases on site. If you still have larger luggage with you, we ask you to lock it up at the main station or leave it in your car when you arrive by public transport.
