Santiago de Cali, June 9, 2022. This Friday, June 10 at 6:00 pm, at the Jorge Garcés Borrero Departmental Library Museum Dome, the art gallery Blanco Toro Gallery, will hold the exhibition of César Santafé forever’, as a tribute to this artist who created shapes and colors that evoke all kinds of emotions through his works.
“The Departmental Library thanks Blanco Toro Gallery for having selected the Institution as a cultural setting to exhibit the work of master Santafé, who in life continued his research until the last of his days in Bibliovalle. Here the painter dedicated most of his time to exploring to create”, said the general director, Mónica Alexandra Perlaza Ochoa.
The paintings of this Colombian kinetic cubist artist are characterized by the human figure articulated with objects, animals, produced through a pictorial language, symbols, textures, brightness that makes the work detach from what it represents to evoke all kinds of memories.
