We are currently looking for an Art Director Football Marketing to work for the ICA, PUMA’s Internal Creative Agency, out of our HQ in Herzogenaurach. We are looking for someone who is focused on visual storytelling with a strong aesthetic sense for art direction, video, and digital content. The candidate should be culturally connected and passionate with a genuine knowledge and passion for football, streetwear and fashion. We are seeking someone who is innovative, collaborative, ambitious – someone who genuinely wants to design cool stuff for our brand.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the Creative Director, Content Creators and Teamsport Business Unit in the conception and development of creative marketing concepts
– Ideation, concepting, design and visualization of creative marketing concepts
– Lead photo / video productions
– Identify and brief external partners – photographers, illustrators, animators, producers, content creators
– Work across all marketing channels to execute ideas that deliver on creative directions developed by ICA – PR, Social, Paid Media, Ecommerce
– Be a leading voice in both Creative Service and cross-channel brainstorming sessions
– Work with the Creative Lead and Senior Management in the Teamsport Business Unit to develop briefs for campaigns and other communications initiatives
– Work with internal producers to plan and execute photoshoots and other types of productions
– Oversee the development of creative guidelines to aid in regional execution of global concepts, as well as the post-production asset selection and retouching process.
– Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and/or relevant field of education/study
– Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience required
– Deeply culturally connected and passionate for Football / Soccer
– Digitally focused, with versatile creative suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat on Mac ) to be able to create proof of concepts, moving imagery such as gifs and video content
– Thorough understanding of creative process as well as interactive, digital design and video storytelling
– Exceptional ability to see projects through all phases of implementation including concept ideation, design development, pre- and post- production
– Exceptional presentation skills and proven ability to effectively work with senior management to brainstorm, design and strategize the fulfillment of marketing executions
– Extensive experience directing and overseeing both studio and location photo shoots under aggressive, time-sensitive conditions
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to function autonomously and in a cooperative, diverse group
– Leadership capabilities, including ability to manage, motivate and mentor others within work group
