“Art Deco” inaugurated during the Art Fair – La Prensa de Monclova

Municipal officials of Monclova and Torreón, during the cutting of the ribbon to start the Art Deco exhibition.

On its second day, the 2021 Art Fair presented an exhibition called “Art Deco”, Memories of a Futuristic Tower ”, which was held at the Coahuila y Texas Museum.

This exhibition of the House of Arts and Crafts program, is the product of the vision of young people with different backgrounds, Students, Engineers, architects and graduates, show how they see and perceive the Historic Center of Torreón, through its buildings, streets and people who meet in it.

This exhibition was accompanied by a series of photographs that were taken in an analogous way, and from different angles to each of the buildings that are located in the Historic Center of the Lagunera city, and placed on each wall of the Coahuila Museum room. and Texas, as part of the programming of cultural events that are projected through the Arts Fair.

In this demonstration were present, the councilor Arlet Botello, representing Mayor Agustín Ramos Pérez; the director of Art and Culture in this city, Oscar Maldonado: Elias Agüero Díaz Durán, director of Art and Culture of the municipality of Torreón, and Bárbara Izaguirre, head of Art and Culture in Monclova.

During her message, the representative of the mayor in this exhibition said she was happy and was the bearer of the recognition of the municipal president of this city, Agustín Ramos, at the same time thanking Torreón’s participation and very grateful for the exhibition, because it is a way to know the wealth that the aforementioned municipality has.

To conclude and open this exhibition, the municipal representatives of both municipalities cut the ribbon, with which this excellent exhibition was inaugurated.
