Art | Curator Mihaela Radulescu, promoter of art and visual semiotics, died | nczg | CULTURE

Renowned art curator and university professor Mihaela Radulescu passed away this Wednesday. Among his most significant achievements we commemorate the organization of festivals and exhibitions of art in the eighties both in Peru and in other Latin American countries.

LOOK: The painting called “The prayer of Jesus in the garden” was declared Cultural Heritage of the Nation.

The philologist by training and researcher of visual semiotics, Radulescu entered teaching at the Faculty of Art and Design of the PUCP in 1983. In addition, she was a professor in the Academic Department of Art of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of the Professional School of Philosophy – UNMSM. Both institutions showed their regret on social networks.

Other institutions also mourned his loss and wrote emotional farewell messages on their social networks, this is the case of the Lima Art Museum:

“Art is knowledge of the world, of the experiences of human beings in the world, of oneself and, above all, of others”, said the prominent Romanian philologist Mihaela Radulescu (1950-2021).
