And it is that after countless projects were truncated, the stage lights were turned off and, unfortunately, the lives of many people were also silenced, it became imperative to seek palliative alternatives in the face of uncertainty, pain and overwhelm.
In this sense, art and culture, despite not being considered essential activities, became a perfect ally of resilience.
Although the cultural spaces had to close their doors to the public, art makers and lovers found new channels of communication with the audience, creating wonderful pieces; many of them, inspired precisely by the confinement and other effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Several artists from Aguascalientes were able to share their work through spaces and calls that were opened thanks to the efforts of agencies such as the Aguascalientes Cultural Institute (ICA) and the Aguascalientes Municipal Institute for Culture (IMAC), respectively.
On the other hand, it also highlights the work of those who on their own, dedicate themselves to promoting the work carried out in the state, such as the “A Scene” program, where Julieta Orduña, Miryam Almanza and Clara Martínez and other collaborators coincide; who, in addition to celebrating their 18th anniversary, published the book “El Teatro A Scene”.
On this last day of the year, they not only celebrated the end of a difficult cycle, but also the creativity of those who, from their trenches, made it possible in the middle of the confinement, to travel to other lands, with other characters and live other stories.
