Great symbolists and surrealists, “outsiders”, “psychologically sensitive” and finally “patient artists” have been showing the international exhibition project “Family of Souls – Plant Fantasies between Symbolism and Outsider Art” since the end of March. A huge overview in Heidelberg, Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Bad Dürkheim. At the symposium in the Wilhelm Hack Museum in Ludwigshafen, over 100 guests are now discussing artistic expressions of outsider art: “An art like any other?”
